About the Creator
Hi, I'm Matt Perri. For over 30 years, I've lived and breathed music, from the Broadway pit to conducting at Carnegie Hall. My deep technical conducting knowledge was forged through years studying with master teacher Gary Fagin, a protégé of Otto Werner-Mueller. Beyond the podium, I actively Music Direct and play for stars like Bette Midler, Kristin Chenoweth, and Jessica Vosk. My diverse musical background – serious jazz, compositional training, vocal expertise – gives me a unique command of the full landscape. Plus, as a Music Supervisor, I haven't just hired MDs; I have also hired countless musicians. I know exactly what it takes to thrive on stage, in the pit, and behind the scenes. I live in Poulsbo, WA with my wife Molly, son Elliot, and daughter Nola. I created this course to cut through the noise and give you the real-world skills and confidence to lead any room, with clarity and impact.
